The year is 1859.
The country is in turmoil. Tempers on both sides are heating up.
In Claiborne County, Mississippi, a family is preparing for a journey to freedom.
This is the story of Hannah Cummings Cotton, her plantation life, her children,
and her journey to Ohio, leaving the chains of slavery behind.
This awe inspiring Block of the Month program is dedicated to her legacy.

This twelve-month Block of the Month program begins in October.  The quilt is 97" x 97" and is made with beautiful prints in red, off-white, blue, gold.  $25 a month includes borders and binding.
