Illusions Sampler Block of the Month is designed by Scott Flanagan of 4th & Main Designs. The fabric collection in this beautiful quilt is the Luster Collection, designed by Scott with Banyan Batiks.
Each month, you will receive a kit to complete a block. Most of the construction is pieced, with a bit of foundation paper piecing, a bit of fusible machine applique, and a bit of curved piecing. This is a great skill-builder quilt and is designed for a confident beginner.
We will be offering classes in fusible machine applique and foundation paper piecing if you are looking for guidance. And if that’s not enough, each month there will be a tutorial presentation to help you along. This quilt will give you the opportunity to try out those special techniques, and that will open you up to more quilt making opportunities ahead of you!
If mailed, the card on file will automatically be billed each month the cost of the kit plus shipping as they are sent out. If picked up, you pay as you pick them up! For any further questions please contact us at (913) 268-3333.

MONTH 3 - MARCH Please note on pg. 12 that the piecing instructions for the half-square triangles are made by sewing along the drawn line. That is how the unfinished hst is 4-1/2” even though you cut your squares 4 1/2”. If the template shapes for the Drunkard’s Path are not included in your kit, please let us know.
