A Bit About Us

Prairie Point has had a few owners since the original store opened in Shawnee, KS in 1995. Prairie Point Quilts became Prairie Point Quilt & Fabric Shop in 2013 and moved to its current location in Lenexa, KS in 2019.

In February of 2024, Ashley and I became the fourth owners and we’re very excited to continue the traditions and grow the name of Prairie Point.   Along with our talented and dedicated staff, we are committed to continue to provide our customers with the high-quality fabrics, notions, patterns, books, service and inspiration that we are known for.

If you didn’t already know, we have one of the best, well-rounded selections of well-known designer fabrics that include Kaffe, William Morris, Grunge, Batiks, and Tilda (and soooo much more!). We also have fabrics for making your favorite bag or apparel pieces including wovens, canvas, linen, and chambrays. Don’t forget to also check out our selection of needle work and wool projects.
